On 24 and 25 March the project partners and numerous international stakeholders of the INTERREG MOMAr project held their third Interregional Event for Exchange of Experiences. The web conference was hosted by the Mehedini County (Romania) and served as a platform to learn from each other through the presentation of good practices from all the participating regions.
A new and very valuable element of the discussion was the exchange of challenging practices which showed that we are also facing difficult situations in cultural heritage management which can – in the end – often provide us with important learnings.
The two days meeting was filled with very interesting presentations from a large number of participants. TRANSROMANICA contributed some learnings from recent social media activities. Two other stakeholders from Saxony-Anhalt – namely Michaelstein Monastery and SUNK Foundation for the Environment, Nature and Climate Protection of Saxony-Anhalt shared their fantastic good practice examples in the fields of digitalization of cultural heritage and management of natural heritage.
On top of that, we could learn from many other projects such as the Key Keepers project and School Church in Groningen (The Netherlands), the European Cultural Route of Reformation in Bohemia (Czech Republic) and many more.
