On the occasion of Europe Day 2021, the TRANSROMANICA network celebrated its first Europe-wide TRANSROMANICA Day! All members as well as friends and partners participated in the development of a unique presentation of the values, efforts and achievements of our European Cultural Route.
The various facets and aspects of TRANSROMANICA as a network for European cultural cooperation are illuminated in a series of “TRANSROMANICA IS …” interviews which is hosted by TRANSROMANICA Managing Director Christin Leser. In 21 sessions she invites representatives from all TRANSROMANICA regions and partner institutions to share their thoughts on themes such as cultural identity, cultural education, preservation of cultural heritage, cultural tourism, community involvement, innovation and creativity, cooperation, European values and many more. In addition, every collocutor brings with him or her a good practice example from his or her home region to illustrate the theme at stake.
In addition to a joint opening video with greeting messages from all across Europe and the “TRANSROMANICA IS …” interviews, a number of additional activities were hosted and material was produced on the occasion of the first European TRANSROMANICA Day.
