From 31 May until 3 June 2022, TRANSROMANICA participated at the 9th Training Academy on Cultural Routes of the Council of Europe in Fontainebleau, France.
The event was hosted as part of the Présidence française du Conseil de l’Union européenne and organised by the Impressionisms Routes and the European Institute of the Cultural Routes of the Council of Europe programme in cooperation with the Ministère de la Culture and the Département de Seine-et-Marne.
Under the theme “Cultural Tourism”, representatives from 36 Cultural Routes came together to explore within 3 days of intensive work and exchange of good practices the most innovative emerging trends and strategies of cultural tourism, especially in the post-Covid environment. It was a pleasure to meet again in person and to exchange very fruitful in face to face plenary sessions after such a long period of online meetings.
