On 20 November 2o20, the second IMPACTOUR webinar for stakeholders from the field of cultural tourism took place as a web conference. 46 participants from various regions all over Europe came together to share their experience on how the Covid-19 pandemic affected cultural tourism.

On 5th September, the 25th edition of the Romanesque Award Ceremony of the Route of the Romanesque in Saxony-Anhalt took place at St. Mary’s Church of Naumburg Cathedral. Every year, the Ministry of Economy, Science and Digitalisation as well as the Tourism Association of Saxony-Anhalt honour outstanding commitment dedicated to raising the awareness for the Route of the Romanesque. The winners were selected from a total of 18 suggestions.
At the moment, the annual Summer Academy is taking place at Königslutter Imperial Cathedral. In the beautiful cloistered courtyard of the former Benedictine monastery the participants of the sculpting workshops have the chance to create their own sculpture under the guidance of the experienced sculptor Hans Reijnders.

TRANSROMANICA is an official project partner of the IMPACTOUR project that is funded through the EU Horizon 2020 Research and Innovation Programme. The project started on 1 January 2020 and is led by the NOVA University of Lisbon (Universidade NOVA de Lisboa).
On the Romanesque Day, as well as on the Open Monumet Day in September, special guided tours, events and concerts along the Route of the Romanesque are offered.
